Boys SWGSO Meeting Minutes, February 3, 2010.

Attendees: Kristi Phipps, Rose Strickler, Jennifer Wagner, Susan Turnansky, Yvonne Koehler, Kathi Hausmann, and Sue Olsen.

Call to Order: 5:40 p.m. by Kathi Hausmann at Southwest Training Center.

Southwest Junior Cup: Michelle Ormiston will be in charge of concessions. Susan Turnansky and Sharon Mattern will help Michelle with the concessions. An email has been sent out for assignments of food and beverage donations. The raffle items are a flip video camera and a DS. Southwest families may donate money toward the purchase of these items. Volunteer positions for the meet are posted at the gym. Help from everyone is needed. Packing up the gym will begin around 5 pm on Friday. Dave Phipps will provide a trailer for set up. Additional minivans are still needed for set up. Sponsorship of the ads for the program is $25.

Sponsor Signs: A volunteer is needed to mount and post the sponsor signs in the viewing rooms.

Team Photos: Our team photos are scheduled for Tuesday, February 23, 2010 from 5:30 till 6:30. All levels should arrive at 5:30 promptly for the team photo. Level 4 individual photos will be taken at 4:00 pm. Levels 5-10 individual photos will be taken at 6:00 pm.. An order form will be passed out at the gym. It is also available on the gym web sight. All gymnasts should wear their complete uniform, including their warm-ups. There is a $10 sitting fee per gymnast, which will be applied to your order of a photo package, if ordered by March 2nd.

Fry’s Card Update: Families purchased $2000 more than last year. Monies received from Frys may possibility go into boys individual accounts to pay for meets.

A gymnast march in coordinator is needed for the Southwest Junior Cup. Kathi Hausmann will coordinate the march in for the level 4 gymnastics. Laura Loh may be handling the goodie bags for the meet. Sue Olsen will set up the direction signs before the meet. Jennifer Wagner will pick up the direction signs following the meet.
