Joint Boys and Girls Booster Club Meeting, Tuesday May, 11, 2010.

Attendees: Sue Olsen, Kara Stowell, Laura Loh, Jennifer Sanders, Rose Strickler, Susan Turnansky, Yvonne Koehler, Kristie Wickland, Kathi Hausmann, Kathy Berg, Kellie Walker, Laura Horochowski, Priscilla Tai, Kelly Moore, and Julie Barry.

Call to Order: The joint boys and girls meeting was called to order by Kristie Wickland at 5:34 pm at Southwest Training Center.

Election of President in conjunction with girls team. The nomination of Kathi Hausmann for President. All present voted for president. Immediately following the vote the boys and girls team booster clubs split for their individual nominations of Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.

Boys Team Elections: Sue Olsen was running the nominations and they were as follows: Co-Vice Presiden, Sue Olsen was nominated as Vice President to assist the President and Laura Loh was nominated as Vice President in charge of the Golf Tournament. Jennifer Wagner was nominated as the Treasurer. Susan Turnansky was nominated as the Secretary. The vote was taken and the ballots were collected by Sue Olsen.

Treasurers Report by Yvonne Koehler: A vote was needed on the amount of money supplied to the boys for Nationals. $1500 per boy was budgeted plus $150 registration fee. $1700 was spent for the Olsen expenses. A motion by Laura Loh was made to cover $1700 for the Olsen expenses. The motion was 2nd by Susan Turnansky. The motion unanimously passed. The budget goal for 2009/2010 was $10,794.70 and the actual year end balance was $17,710.99. The estimate year end balance for the 2010/2011 budget is $9,008.20. Support is needed to increase the general fund. We will need to bid to do State, this can increase our fund by $10,000. There were no questions on the proposed 2010/2011 budget. A motion was made by Kara Stowell to accept the proposed budget, it was seconded by Laura Loh. The motion unanimously passed.

Script by Laura Loh: The order forms for script were distributed, additional forms will be available at the gym. The orders will be submitted weekly. Laura would like to do a ten day challenge for script orders. The winner will receive a $25 gift card of their choice. Five different orders from different people need to be submitted with a minimum total of $500 to win the challenge.

Kathi motioned to conclude the meeting , it was seconded by Jennifer Sanders. The meeting was closed at 6:20 pm.
